The Whistler backcountry has some of the best terrain for snowboarding in the world. It’s easily accessible, frequently has incredible conditions in the spring and is burly enough to keep the best snowboarders challenged.

When the sun comes out in the spring there can be a whole bunch of different snowboard crews travelling to different spots on sleds trying to log shots for their respective movies. Luckily, the area is so vast that there’s plenty of room for everyone.

In the latest YES Mission, DCP, Romain De Marchi, Clint Allan, Madison Ellsworth, Mikey Pederson, Colin Spencer, and Benji Ritchie hit up the Whistler backcountry and score some big mountain lines, hefty cliff drops and hit some classic cheese wedges. The spots are amazing, the snow is light and fluffy, and it’s pretty easy to see why the region is considered legendary in the backcountry snowboard world.
