Roope Tonteri sent us over this heavy Top to Bottom run from Keystone, featuring 12 bolts-as-they-come tricks through Keystone’s pantheon-sized park.
As a staple in today’s highest level slopestyle competitions, Finland’s Roope Tonteri is no stranger to stringing together a whole load of tricks into one continuous run. Roope has been out in Colorado over the past couple of months for cruising the park in between throwing down at various contests, and shot this silky smooth run for us on overcast (down)day.
Featuring some textbook rail tricks such as frontside noseblunt 270, 50-50 front 3 out, some stylish kicker tricks (how nice is that corked back 5 off the heels?) and a handplant thrown in for good measure, this is about as perfect a top to bottom run as you’ll see.
Don’t forget that we have an iON Camera to give away every month for users submitting their own Top to Bottom runs. Find out how to enter below.
ABOUT OUR TOP TO BOTTOM CONTEST:
A lot can be said about a rider’s snowboarding if you strip away all of the unnecessary stuff and focus solely on the tricks and lines themselves.
Our new TOP TO BOTTOM contest presented by iON Camera aims to captures this, inviting riders to submit their own top to bottom runs so to show the world how they interpret terrain.
Every month, we will give away a brand new iON Air Pro™ 3 Wi-Fi Camera and a heap of Onboard stash to the best run, as chosen by the Onboard team and a public vote.
We’ll be dropping new runs from pro snowboarders (shot exclusively on iON Cameras) every month for inspiration.
