Bjorn Simons is a young dude from Belgium who currently works as a park shaper in the St. Anton (STANTON) park. We hit up the park recently and thought he had the chops for his own top to bottom run. Check it!
It’s got to be a pretty good feeling throwing down on features that you’ve helped to create.
Bjorn Simons hails from the flatlands of Belgium, is a shaper at the STANTON park, and rides for Burton and Volcom, and while he may not be the most well known snowboarder we’ve featured in our Top to Bottom pro series, we definitely think he’s got the skills to warrant one.
We followed Bjorn for a top to bottom to top to bottom run through the Stanton Park, with one line through the medium line followed by a run through the pro-side of the park.
Don’t miss his crazy stylish cab 180 to method and ‘pokey’ backside 180 or his bolts backside 720 on the big daddy kicker.
Don’t forget that we have an iON Camera to give away every month for users submitting their own Top to Bottom runs. Find out how to enter below.
ABOUT OUR TOP TO BOTTOM CONTEST:
A lot can be said about a rider’s snowboarding if you strip away all of the unnecessary stuff and focus solely on the tricks and lines themselves.
Our new TOP TO BOTTOM contest presented by iON Camera aims to captures this, inviting riders to submit their own top to bottom runs so to show the world how they interpret terrain.
Every month, we will give away a brand new iON Air Pro™ 3 Wi-Fi Camera and a heap of Onboard stash to the best run, as chosen by the Onboard team and a public vote.
We’ll be dropping new runs from pro snowboarders (shot exclusively on iON Cameras) every month for inspiration.
