In the latest Tailgate Alaska episode, we catch up with the ONE LOVE camp and take to the hills (well, mountains) for some powder slashing, backflips and more. There’s also some sweet aerial footage in this one shot both with drones and actual helis. Are drones really the future of affordable aerial cinematography?

This year marks the seventh Tailgate Alaska (which went down March 28- April 6, 2014). With 10 countries, six provinces and 15 states already representing, the event is the annual pilgrimage of dedicated recreational riders, professional athletes and the industry to ride the world’s best mountains and deepest snow on the planet.

Tailgate Alaska offers multiple on-site rescue teams and free daily snow science classes. This year Tailgate Alaska added nightly seminars given by industry veterans and snow safety experts, who shared their experience with participants of the event.
