The ‘I Ride Park City‘ progression train keeps on chugging down the progression railroad, not only on the tracks of technical ability on a snowboard, but on the helmet innovation front as well. This time Dylan Thompson straps on his lid for some laps through Park City’s infamous park.
It’s a fairly rare sight to see Mr Thompson tackling terrain that doesn’t require a winched run in, a 30ft drop, or more balls than a ping pong tournament to hit, but he takes to the groomed take-offs like a duck to water.
We’re always blown away by Dylan’s ability to control a trick; they never look messy, or scrappy. He’s so composed throughout the execution of different tricks. If you follow his arms and his shoulders through rotations, they’re flowing through the movements keeping him balanced, and the rotation smooth.
Dylan’s had a belter of a season taking the silverware in the X Games Real Snow competition with one of the heaviest entries we’ve ever seen. Apart from that, it’s been a little quiet on the Thompson front all season – we’re always hyped to see him ride, and this wee edit is no exception. You can check him out in some of the Neffland edits here if you need another dose of Thompson voodoo.
