This week Vernon follows the film maker, snowboarder and all-round good dude Jake Price as they shoot for the upcoming Vans project in Austria. Jake Price has made a tonne of amazing movies like Mr. Plant, 9191 and December to name just a few.

The kind words and insights from Vernon and Pat Moore prove that Jake is a one of a kind film maker with a truly unique approach to shooting snowboarding. He knows how to present his vision to the world, never just reporting on what went down but showing it from his point of view while pushing the guys he’s filming to get the trick better. He’s a snowboarder through and through and would hit any of the jumps that the pros do. The guys he’s shooting trust him to get the shot and always take his advice on how to do the trick better. Check out what Jake thinks about shooting snowboarding, the equipment he trusts and how he went about creating the incredible projects he has worked on.

As usual, Vernon presents this story in a considered manner, taking the time to ask the guys how they feel and what they think, bagging some incredible shots along the way. There’s perfect conditions in Austria for you to enjoy, with Markus and Pat sending it into untouched powder against a perfect bluebird sky. Snowboarding doesn’t get much better than this and you’re lucky enough to see it all from behind the lens of two of snowboarding’s true documenters. Essential viewing but an absolute joy to watch.
