High Cascade Snowboard Camp – Session 3

Here’s a short but sweet edit from Session Three of High Cascade, and it’s another slice of summer radness from Mt Hood.

HCSC’s latest comes complete with sun, slush, and frothing riders. Chilled and carefree are the vibes, which could be expected from a bunch of riders getting sendy under bluebird skies. It’s a bit of a change of pace from the previous two episodes, with a chirpy soundtrack to match the energy of the riders.

“big, laid-out backflips, huge lines down improv’d rail setups, and shiftys aplenty”

The guys at HCSC have given us a little bit of everything in this edit. You’ve got big, laid-out backflips, huge lines down improv’d rail setups, and shiftys aplenty. Yeah, there are a few double corks, but as is usually the case with HCSC edits it’s the creative lines that really stand out. We’re still trying to figure out exactly what’s going on about the 1.48 mark.

Towards the end big names like Red Gerard and Ben Ferguson come out to play. Ben Ferg treats us to sights of lazy switch methods and sweet double grabs out of the pipe. It’s this kind of originality that makes the scenes that come out of High Cascade such a pleasure to watch year after year.

It’s a fun, unflustered little video that’s the perfect taste of summer shredding, leaving you wanting to drop your bags to get on the first flight across the pond. Although the previous two episodes are definitely worth a watch, Episode 3 is the best session recap yet, and we’re stoked to see what else is gonna come out of Mt Hood this summer.
