In the latest Grilosode, Marko Grilc and homies Zak Hale, Ethan Morgan and Sage Kotsenburg head out to Bosnia for a once in a lifetime snowboard trip to a country scarred by war.
When it comes to pushing the boundaries of unique and fresh snowboard destinations, Marko Grilc and his Grilosodes truly set the standard. Grilo has taken his crew to all four corners of the globe, from Africa to Europe and a whole bunch of places in between.
His latest adventure took him and Zak Hale, Ethan Morgan and Sage Kotsenburg to Bosnia. First up on the list of places to shred was the home of the 1984 Winter Olympics – now an empty, war-torn shell of its former glory.
As the crew move from spot to spot, it’s evident that Bosnia is a country that had to endure some horrors 20 years ago, with the remaining buildings still visibly scarred and bruised.
The dark, looming soviet architecture combined with some incredible snowboarding from Grilc, Hale, Morgan and Kotsenburg, makes for one of the most visually striking Grilosodes to date. A must-watch!
