BORIS MOUTON’S ‘LIVING BOB’ – EP. 4

China World Snowboard Championship

The fourth instalment of Boris Mouton’s web series, Living Bob, sees the styley Frenchman trying his luck at the World Championships of Snowboarding in Yabuli, China.

After throwing down a triple cork for the first time in competition at the Laax Open he looked amped to try it again, but a little bit of indecisiveness on the run-in resulted in a hefty slam to the back and neck during Big Air training. It just shows you what a tiny amount of hesitation can do at this level of riding, Boris was sadly unable to make it through to finals.

Unfazed as ever, Boris recovered from his slam and got a spot in the slopestyle comp a few days later, and took the opportunity to enjoy it to the max and enjoy the time in China eating scorpions and stuff. That double stiffy too.

“World Snowboard Championship in China was really FUN, All the riders were staying at CLUB MED in Yabuli it was so nice to see everyone and played Ping Pong, Trapeze and many other funny activities.

At the Big air training I took a really hard crash on my Bs triple and fucked up my body totally, but nothing bad happened. Qualis went down the next days, fell on both runs, pretty bummed that I couldn’t make it to the finals. Few days after I somehow got a spot in Slopestyle, which was not planned, so I decided to have fun and enjoy.”
