Antti Autti: STATEMENTS Teaser

INSTANT POW BONER ALERT! Antti Autti – Finnish freestyle legend turned backcountry powder assassin – just dropped the teaser for his online movie project, STATEMENTS. Looks epic!

STATEMENTS will be four chapters focussing on the different aspects of freestyle freeriding, with an emphasis on letting the action do the talking. Starting at the beginning of October, a chapter will drop every couple of weeks, followed up by Antti’s full part – which you can bet on being legit.

Here’s a breakdown on the breakdown…

Chapter 1: Trees

Action packed freestyle treeriding edit. Locations: Niigata & Hokkaido, Japan. Riders: Antti Autti, Nicholas Wolken, Kohei Kudo

Chapter 2: Turns

Showcases art of turning in different locations, from low altitudes to high alpine. Filming Locations: Abisko Mountains, Sweden & Niigata, Japan. Riders: Antti Autti, Nicholas Wolken, Takumi Nagai, Sho Shiramizu, Nicholas Wolken, Will Jackways

Chapter 3: Barrels

Edit showcases transition riding from pipe to natural walls. Filming locations: Riksgränsen, Sweden; Cardrona, Treble Cone & Southern Alps, New Zealand. Riders: Antti Autti, Will Jackways, Enni Rukajärvi (TBC), Scotty Lago (TBC)

Chapter 4: Alpine

Final chapter links big mountain lines & natural terrain freestyle riding into one strong section. Filming Locations: Abisko & Kebnekaise mountains, Sweden; Southern Alps, New Zealand

Judging by the teaser, STATEMENTS is gonna be all time. We’re proper frothing for this.
