As one Terje Haakonsen said to us last year, snowboarding without bindings turns a mellow backyard hill into Chamonix. The guys and gals from Salee Surf certainly seem to be enjoying the shallower pitches in this new teaser.

With a name that doffs the cap to their surf inspiration, White Swell is a beautifully shot foray into the trees. Things may move at a glacial pace, but for snowsufing – where it’s all about slowing things down and really feeling it – that’s appropriate enough.

This clip has a lovely vibe, which even a cheesy Game Of Thrones reference right at the death can’t ruin. It comes close though – seriously, why do that?! It’s like putting a fart joke at the end of Schindler’s List.
