Could this be the Pathology of the coming season?

You know what we mean. That film each year that manages to capture the essence of snowboarding in the rawest form; think Mr Plant, Pathology, Pony Tale or EuroGap. Well, we might well have to go back and eat our words, but projectDETOUR from David Bertschinger Karg, might well be added to the collection when it drops in Autumn 2015. 

After 5 years of starring in Isenseven and True Colour projects, including a belter of part in the 2012 Isen drop ‘Fool’s Gold’, which in this writers opinion, completely altered the tempo of the entire film after Ludde’s intro, DBK’s now the man with the movie camera and there’s a roster of under rated, under loved and under represented snowboarders taking to centre stage.

From what we understand, it’s filmed in three different sections; Switzerland, Greece and California – each serving as a standalone movie, but also working at a trio.

Here’s what the man himself had to say about the project:

projectDETOUR is a short film series about three trips to three destinations. We’ve been hiking waist deep powder in the Alps, we high fived sheep farmers in Greece and rode our motorbikes through the state of California.

Right now I can not think of a better way to spend a winter season. Definitely one for the books! Stay tuned for the short film series dropping Fall 2015.
