Victor de le Rue is on an absolute tear at the moment. Check out all of his best footage from the previous season, remixed and remastered by the Almo Films crew.
We fear that the Victor de le Rue breed of snowboarder is dying out in 2015. The guy that is equally at home turning on massive spine walls in Alaska as he is hitting street rails one-footed just isn't at all that common anymore. It's difficult being an all-rounder, and Victor is one of the best examples out there right now.
When your surname is de le Rue we can totally understand how Victor has been constantly compared to his truly world class sibling. The thing is, we think that Victor travelled past the point of that constant comparison needing to be made years ago (we're well aware that by bringing it up we're contributing to the problem...).
With ender parts in Absinthe movies, two Onboard covers in just as many years and an uncanny ability to slay any feature he's presented with, it's no bold claim to say that VDLR is one of the best snowboarders in Europe right now.
Just watch his full Almo part above and see if you don't agree.
