Ståle Sandbech is on another level of talented. Check out his full part from the Oakley movie ‘Snowboarding: For Me’ and you’ll see exactly what we mean.
The Norwegian name Ståle literally translates to ‘style’ in English (ok we lie, Google Translate tells us that it actually translates to Brett, but go figure).
Despite the unfortunate truths about his name, Ståle Sandbech is without question one of the most stylish snowboarders on the planet right now, and while he be owner to the triple corks and spin to win meat-huck tricks needed to win contests like the Burton European Open or the Air + Style, he also has an uncanny ability to make those tricks his own. Whether it be by adding an indy grab to his backside triples, or spinning a cab 12 with a poked out Stalefish, Ståle understands what it means to stand out as an individual in snowboarding.
Watch him slay the kickers of Norway in his full part from the Oakley movie ‘Snowboarding: For Me’, and listen to testimonials from fellow riders Torstein Horgmo and Nicolas Müller on just how good this 21 Norwegian rider really is.
