Swiss shralper Christian Haller ditches the stunt ditch for some Japanese powder. And proceeds to get whiteroomed off his nut.
You'll know Christian 'Hitsch' Haller from consistently killing it at halfpipe contests across the globe. But, being Swiss, he's got a taste for the finer things in life and boosted east to pop his Japanese cherry last season with an orgy of powder turns alongside homie Nicholas Wolken.
Here's what Hitsch himself had to say: "I wanted to go to Japan for a long time but somehow never really made it. Beginning of last Frebruary it was finally time to go and experience it. I was totally blown away by the culture and kindness of Japan. I’ve probably never seen or ridden in this much fresh snow. I had the pleasure of brining a few of my best friends along the trip. I met up with Nicholas Wolken in Hokkaido and the boys from Hillton Productions came out to film. After 10 good days of riding we went to Tokyo to check out the city and a little bit of karaoke. Writing this makes me really go back there, haha."
You can also check out an online photobook of his Miyago memories. If this doesn't make you want winter to hurry up and get here, you might want to check you still have a pulse.
