I've got to call it that the Scuballoon edits have been some of my favourite edits of the season. They're sort of emblematic of the European snowboard scene; just some unknown djudes riding at their local resort and interpreting the terrain in their own way.

The Norewgian scene is 'so hot right now' and has been for a few years. The fact that to a certain extent, the Scuballoon-ers have completely flown under the radar, just adds to it all in this writer's opinion. There's no pressure to film, no emphasis on views or bigging up their sponsors - it's just friends taking laps.

Markus Rustad is one of the Scuballoon-ers, and this is his season wrap-up from 2014/15. Whilst most of the footage is from Tryvann; Oslo's local hill, there's also a few shots from Hintertux in the edit, which makes us wonder if he's studying at one of the many snowboard schools in Norway.

Boy can ride transition as well! There's not many riders we've seen that can pop a crippler off a wedge like Markus does at 2:05 - it's a little bit of a jet ski landing, but the landing looks flatter than the Dutch Alps.

We sincerely hope that the Scuballoon posse ramp it up in the 2015/16 season for another set of videos. I'd go as far as to say it's the best series I've seen this winter.

Fuck it. It is.
