Heikki Sorsa isn’t so much cooking with gas in his full-part than he is with bloody napalm. From record holding quarterpipe hits to backcountry booter sessions in Saas-Fee, Hekki is more versatile than a never ending roll of duct tape.
Launching into the spotlight at The Arctic Challenge as a wildcard back in 2001, his career has spanned multiple spots in the now defunct MDP films as well as being a threat on the World Snowboard Tour specialising in Big Air events.
There’s been few hiccups on the way for the most softly spoken man in snowboarding though. The infamous implosion caused by the disbanding of Burton’s UNINC program left Heikki a little like the wandering Jew with an Albatross slung across his neck for a few seasons. Board and outerwear sponsors came and went, but now Heikki seems to have found a home with 3CS Outerwear and YES snowboards supporting his nomadic adventures.
Gorge your insatiable snowboarding needs on Heikki’s massive wallrides, bridge gaps and rail game. A certified legend of snowboarding for the last two decades and hopefully for years to come.
