We got this season wrap-up sent over by a young Hungarian rookie by the name of Botond Fricz, who is part of the East-Austria crew of whippersnappers that're rising up to dominate the local scene. Alongside rookies like Moritz Kauffman, Tit Stante, Ali Lindmoeser and a few others; they've been flying somewhat under the radar as they dial in their skills.

Botond's 14-years young, and he's got a bit of a way to go yet, but his aerial abilities look like that have some promise. Whilst we stopped short of getting a measuring tape out to compare his height to the length of the rail, we're gonna go out on a limb and say that he's..err...still got some growing to do in the height department.

Once he's got a little more limb, that amplitude will help him step it up to bigger booters, and give him that airtime he needs to clean things up a little bit.

When you think of pint-sized shredders, you generally think of Mikkel Bang in White Balance, or even the new age of rippers like Red Gerard or Kyle Mack, that seem to have had that extra style gene from birth. However, it serves well to remember that they're the exception to the rule, rather than the norm.

For the majority of riders, it takes time to be comfortable with a trick, and once you're comfortable with that trick, only then can you begin to add your own flair to it. In our humble opinion anyway...
