Benni F – 10 Years Old and Killing It

What were you doing when you were 10 years old? Chances are it wasn’t chucking double backflips on a snowboard. Benni Fridbjornsson hails from Iceland and has a pretty impressive bag of tricks at age 10.

Of course, this isn’t the first time we’ve watched Benni F snowboard. Benni has been killing it since he was 7 years old and is getting better every year. Back then he was backflipping, now he has a double on lock as well.

As his body begins to rapidly grow over the coming years, it will be interesting to see how Benni’s snowboarding evolves. If his visible stoke for snowboarding continues, he’ll only carry on learning new tricks and pushing the boundaries.

From Benni F:

“Benni Fridbjornsson was doing backflips and riding street rails at the age of seven. Now he is doing double backflips, switch and regular 7s, and gets better every season, and the best thing about it is that it comes naturally.

He is very dedicated to the sport and he watches and analyses every trick he wants to learn, at home watching videos before attempting them.”

Words by Viktor Helgi Hjartarson (Former rider for Signal Snowboards, Oakley, grenade and Nike.)

We still believe Benni is the youngest kid ever to do backflip on snowboard just seven and then double backflip 10 years old.

Benni F meet up Shaun White, Sage Kostenburg, Halldor Helgason and Stale S in Air & Style 2015. Burton BEO 2015 in Laax and WRT in Livigno in January 2015.

Benni is now semi pro and have signed two years contract to DC shoes. The youngest kid to sign contract with DC Shoes Snowboard. Snowboarding.
