If you missed the full Red Bull Double Pipe livecast the other week, or just completely missed it - Red Bull have got it up on their YouTube to watch the TV version of the competition in all its 1080p glory.

Held for the second time in Aspen, all parties upped their game to improve on the course design, format and TV production; all of which meant that the riding level went through the roof with some of the best transition riders on the planet lapping the double ditch.

From a course design perspective, the pipe was an improvement on the previous years incarnation.

A split height deck allowed for transitions between the east and west segments of the pipe without suffering cocyx crushing compression if your line between the two wasn't perfect.

From the looks of pipes, the riders' left of the pipe had a slightly bulged lip to allow transfers more easily on the bottom section, although we could be wrong.

The drop-in channels the riders into the riders' right pipe, and into what we would consider the most creative part of the course. Either using the right wall of the pipe to drop in like most pipes; or using the left wall to either gap into the pipe, gap over the channel, hit the rail and then gap over, ride through the channel and probably a thousand different variations that we're not creative enough to see. There was also some...creative...use of the dye in places.

Watch out for Arthur Longo's first run, and in our opinion, one of the best runs of the day. Unfortunately for the talented French rider, he came unstuck on his runs and couldn't get one down clean.

As this is the TV product, it's shorter than the full webcast which is online if you want to hunt it down and see all 3 runs from each rider.
