Yesterday's quite frankly incredible teaser for the new snow-based slasher flick Avalanche Sharks unsurprisingly went down a treat. It also prompted one of our readers to remind us of this incredible claymation bonus section from Totally Board One.

TB1 was released way back in 1989 and this claymation section featuring Shawn Farmer and Nick Perata is nothing short of epic. Turns out that they already came up with the idea of snow-dwelling Selachimorphs (i.e. sharks) that scurry beneath the surface chomping on unsuspecting gnomes, which has been brought back in a more ratings friendly, boob-filled form a whole 24 years later in Avalanche Sharks.

And that's not the only film they may (or may not) have inspired. Those nazi zombies that emerge at 5:42? Well, anyone heard of the movie Dead Snow?

We can only imagine how long this whole thing took to put together and it's little surprise that the 'to be continued' at the end of the clip was never fulfilled in TB2. Hat's off though - a quarter of a century on and this thing is still damn well entertaining.
