YES. Snowboards – Top To Bottom Resort Edit

YES. Snowboards decided to test out the all-terrain savvy of their range of boards in the best way possible – by top to bottom lapping the hell out of their local resort – Whistler-Blackcomb. From deep pow at the top to park and pipe slaying further down, it’s safe to say whatever terrain you like to rip, they’ve got something for ya…

Over to YES. co-founder DCP for more info on the project:

The original idea was to create a top to bottom run at our home resort of Whistler-Blackcomb with each board model for each specific terrain being ridden by a member of the YES. team.

So, we decided to at least get the team together and take some laps on Blackcomb and capture the moments – both the bangers and the moments in between.

We picked Blackcomb out of the two mountains we proudly call our home, our testing ground. We scored some pow and got to start at the top of the mountain on Crystal Chair, then into the Blackcomb park, the side hits, the Blackcomb pipe and the lower mountain, straight to Longhorn for a proper Après with Gibbons Après Lager .

At the end of the day, we capture a typical and accessible day on Blackcomb but we also got the whole team coordinated with various different boards from the line so that we could show that at YES. snowboards, we have a board for everyone and any conditions.

The shoot took 3 days. It was a great time with everyone. Thanks to the Yes. team and filmers! Also, I’d like to give an extended thank you to Whistler-Blackcomb for all the support they gave us this last season. And what a season it was!

The resort opens this coming Friday, so this Edit release couldn’t been better timed! Here’s to another great season!
