SnoPlanks – Walk The Plank

This is what snowboarding should be like every day

As the festive season quietly dies a death, you can almost still hear the last refrain of Wizzard’s ‘I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday’ ringing in your ears. Yes, clearly it’s the best Christmas song, I’m glad you agree – but would you actually really want that level of holiday cheer on the reg? Fuck. No. You’d need a whole month of build-up and pressure-cooked family tensions for every single day – that sounds more hellish than watching Roy Wood air guitar his way through Top Of The Pops.

“All any of us really want to do is charge pow fields, pop pillows and blast some turns on the cat tracks in between”

Don’t get us wrong though – Christmas is ace. it’s just that snowboarding is far superior. And if we could wish to have something every day it would be the conditions the SnoPlanks crew had on Mt Bachelor last winter. We’ve seen a few of these clips pop up in the Walk The Plank series last year but we’d gladly watch them again and again because really, all any of us really want to do is charge pow fields, pop pillows and blast some turns on the cat tracks in between.

So what are you waiting for? It’s not too late to make a resolution, after all, the 1st of January shouldn’t even legally be considered an actual day. Why not make a promise to yourself to be more like Jonny Sischo, Randal Seaton, Will Dennis and JD Dennis? You might not get as many laps in as they did but we can all strive to be a little better. Get up early and blast some face shots as much as possible in 2018 – we doubt very much you’ll regret it.
