Shakas get THROWN in the third Surfer Boyzzz edit from these Laax up-and-comers...
It's no secret that we're big fans of Laax. The Swiss resort has, over the years, committed to freestyle snowboarding more heavily than pretty much any other place in Europe: that superpipe, the P60 run, the minipipe, the other parks for riders from grommet to pro, the Laax Open, Freestyle Academy... the list goes on. And that's without mentioning that we've had some of our best pow days ever there.
This year, the fabled P60 run is in even better shape than ever - the broad garden of rails remains, but now there are also even more jumps, transfers, trannies and banks than ever before throughout its close to 1 kilometre length. As ever, plenty of riders and crews have been lapping up the goods this season - even at the recent Sudden Rush Banked Slalom most of the racers chose to warm their legs for the Berms of Destiny by taking a few pre-send P60 runs.
One crew who've been reaping the rewards of Laax's setup is the local boys who make up the LaaxSurfClub. Over the past few winters this gang have been dropping a few tasty edits from the hill they call home, and now they're on the third instalment of what they call their Surfer Boyzzz mashups. Filmed entirely through the host of P60's lines and features, it's full of solid riding and showcases both the run's glory hits and what having such features in a resort can do for the local rippers.
