The penultimate session of 2018’s HCSC season up on Mt Hood saw that perfect mix of funboarding in the sun mixed with some heavy stomps. Check it out…

Brendon Rego opens up this recap edit with a show of faith in his skills from his homie – the chances of decapitation aren’t insignificant on that front blunt – and Rego proceeds to get all manner of tech on HCSC’s jibs.

Then follows the expected montage of all the hypest hits from the session. There’s perennial Hood Rat and mind blower, Scott Stevens, and as expected his creative approach to snowboarding doesn’t disappoint; longtime Hood lover Desiree Melancon gets a few bangers under her belt; there’s some decent booter sunset sending and more jibbing from an assorted cast of bros and pros, and Ryan Paul one-ups Fridge with his backpack game. All topped off with a camper-clearing laid out backie from Sean Neary. Chapeau, amigo!

All this goes down under ultra bluebird skies, and seeing as the session also saw the Photo Workshop campers in the house (receiving tutelage on the art of shred snapping from Darcy Bacha, Tim Zimmerman and Andy Wright), we bet there will be some killer shots dropping from session 4…

Session 4 is done for but this week certainly was a doozy. Our campers had a chance to ride in the lane with Signature Session™ Pros Desiree Melancon, Chris Grenier, Scott Stevens and Jesse Burtner. The Salomon team stopped by to enjoy some of the best weather we’ve experienced all summer and effortlessly made their presence known with the roster that they brought through. On top of it all, our Photo Workshop™ campers captured nearly every moment of the session with help from their teachers Darcy Bacha, Tim Zimmerman, and Andy Wright. We’ve still got another session to go before we put the cherry on top of summer 2018! Be on the lookout for what we have cooking up for Session 5!
