Follow Forest Bailey, Niels Schack and Max Tokunaga as they get in the van and hit the mean streets of Europa to blow up on a succession of street spots in between all that roadtripping...
The common threads running through the output of Frontside, Backside are Forest Bailey and videographer Seamus Foster, though of the three full-length edits they've put out two include one of our favourite Euro street riders, Niels Schack.
With both Forest and Niels well-known for their creativity both on and off the board, it's a natural fit and seeing how these two super talented, creative riders apply their skills to a succession of different spots is straight up rad. Also a shoutout to Seamus - the dude gets some rad angles and cuts them all together interspersed with a series of incidental shots of outtakes, lifestyle and other incidentals that really bring life to the edits they've been dropping.
"Seeing how these two super talented, creative riders apply their skills to a succession of different spots is straight up rad."
For this third FSBS Forest, Max and Seamus flew across the pond, rented a van, linked up with Niels and "Ate tons of bread. Drove around a lot and snowboarded a bit." They actually hit a fair few spots on their travels - some you'll recognise, others you won't - and seem to be able to make even the most innoccuous setup look rad. Look out for the van session, the rail to lamp post hop, and some heavy 'round the corner' rails, but really this whole edit is full of heaters.
More than just straight up legit street snowboarding, this is one of those edits that makes you want to get in the van and travel around with a sold crew to ride your snowboard wherever. As they say: "Grab some homies and go somewhere new, it’s the best." Indeed it is.
