Conor Carroll 2018 Street Snowboarding Edit

Uber-creative rail trickery from the Oregon streets

Style and tech both get a good showcase in Conor Carroll’s latest street part. The young American has put together his best bits from two years of riding the rails in and around Mount Hood, and it’s one of the most impressive edits of its kind we’ve seen in a while.

There’s more bangers than a sausage-maker society’s annual summer barbeque – and whether you judge the production to be ‘refreshingly lo-fi’ or just plain basic, this is definitely worth your time.

“Pressing with style, spinning on and off, and even flipping off rails – there’s not much Conor can’t do”

Maybe he’s overdone the slow motion, but then that’s probably a symptom of the Instagram effect in snowboarding. His feed (@conorcarroll_) is ramajam with clips of him doing indecent things with metal, both in and out of the park, most of which get the slo-mo treatment for obvious reasons.

Pressing with style, spinning on and off, and even flipping off rails – there’s not much Conor can’t do. He’s a perfect fit for Lobster Snowboards, whose team features the similarly creative Eiki Helgason, Frank Bourgeois, Fridtjof Tischendorf and Sparrow Knox.

He’s still a relative minnow compared to those names, but if he carries on like this then he’ll surely earn top billing one day. If you’re after more Conor, check out this one from last summer, also starring his brother Colton.

Oh, and if you hate cliché-ridden waffle in YouTube descriptions as much as we do, then you’ll be pleased to hear that under this one he’s just written ‘snowboarding’.

Bravo Connor.
