Monster Energy Shred Show 2014 Full Recap Edit

The Monster Energy Shred Show went down in Whistler last week and brought together a slew of heavy hitters for a slopestyle, big air and our personal favourite – boarderstyle. Peep all of the action in the official recap edit from Monster.

In the Big Air event – a World Snowboard Tour 5 star event, Max Eberhardt took first place with a backside triple cork 1440 mute with Kyle Mack also pulling out the triple dipper for a close second place. Justin Morgan took third with a switch backside double cork 12 stalefish.

Kyle Mack emerged triumphant in the slopestyle, also a World Snowboard Tour 5 star event, stomping a run that included a front 9 tail, switch back 12, and a backside double cork 10 japan, with Seb Toutant and Matts Kulisek rounding out the podium in 2nd and 3rd.

Finally in Boarderstyle – an insane and highly entertaining combination of slopestyle and boardercross, requiring a mandatory spin off the final kicker – Whistler local Rube Goldberg (best. name. ever. by the way…) took the win.

Take a look at all of the action in the Monster edit above.
