The last elooa camp of the winter season 13/14 was again a real highlight this past weekend. Together with the 14 year old outstanding talent Marcus Kleveland we went to the Kitzsteinhorn with a photographer, filmmaker, elooa coaches and 24 campers.
The Nitro Snowboards Pro is already one of the best riders in the world and so it was no wonder that the Step by Step Camp was booked out quickly. The campers came from all over Germany, Austria and Switzerland, young talents included who wanted to shred with their hero.
Saturday was really good weather and the Nitro Snowpark seemed to be in perfect conditions. One of Europe’s finest snow parks was waiting in great shape. Superpipe, Pro Line, Medium Line and Easy Line with numerous obstacles for all skill levels from beginner to pro.
After a little warm up we went directly to the park. Marcus thrilled everyone with his trick diversity and board control. He obviously had a lot of fun shredding with the campers, gave a lot of tips and showed incredible lines in the park. Also the rest of the crew had a lot of fun and everyone was killing it, because a lot of the campers showed great riding on a high level.
Tired and with big smiles everyone went back in the evening to the accomodation. Table tennis, video coaching, delicious food and lots of fun ended the day. On Sunday, the weather was not the best but the motivation was still high and so we jibbed on the slopes and mainly practiced on boxes and rails .
