Freeride Snowboarding – Product Buying Tips

As you’ll ride mainly forwards you need a board with a directional shape and flex to ease you into and power you out of turns.

If it’s riding fast on hardpack look for the extra stability of a stiffer board, but if it’s more out of bounds terrain you ride then boards with a softer, oversized nose and a stiffer, tapered tail – maybe even swallowtailed – will help the nose lift for improved performance in pow.
