Like the rest of the European snowboard industry, Onboard is out this week at the annual ISPO Tradeshow in Munich, where all of the snowboard brands from Europe (and much further afield), gather to show off next winter's gear, see a few familiar faces, and have a beer or five.
We kicked off our ISPO adventure at the Ride snowboards booth and checked out what the dudes have got in store for us for the 2014/2015 season.

[part title="Ride Helix x Akomplice Snowboard 2014/2015"]
One of the most striking new boards in the Ride line up is the Helix snowboard. Its crazy asymmetrical nose and tail shape is a not-so-subtle hint as to the way this board has been put together. The Helix uses a tighter sidecut on the heelside edge compared to on the toeside edge to make heelside turns feel easier.
Despite being asymmetric edge to edge, the board is a true twin tip to tail, and is designed to be ridden all over the mountain, on a wide variety of terrain. The board features a hybrid camber profile with camber between the feet for pop and responsiveness, and rocker in the nose and tail for reduced edge catching and extra float in powder.
The graphics are a collaboration with clothing brand Akomplice and they look pretty tight if you ask us.
[part title="Ride Capo Bindings 2014/2015"]
The popular Ride Capo bindings have been revamped for 2015 with a brand new highback. The Capo's are built for powerful riders looking for a binding that will give them support sending it off booters or charging around the moment. We think next year's model looks pretty damn badass.

[part title="Ride Highlife UL Snowboard 2014/2015"]
We were hyped on the graphics for the 2014/2015 Highlife UL, with its semi-transparent topsheet which gives you a look at the board's insides. UL stands for ultra light and they certainly weren't lying!
[part title="Ride Baretta Snowboard 2014/2015"]
The Ride Baretta is an all mountain board built for women looking for a board for charging. Here's what the Baretta looks like for next season:
[part title="Ride Buck Up Snowboard 2014/2015"]
Ride have continued their popular Buck Up snowboard for 2015 and this one's built for going big. Seb Toots uses this board for hitting 60 foot plus park kickers, and that's a pretty damn good indicator of how this snowboard rides.
[part title="Ride Alter Ego Snowboard 2014/2015"]
The Ride Alter Ego snowboard is a new one model for 2015 and features a super sick split tail. With its long scoop nose and fully directional shape, this one's a powder and backcountry machine down to the core. You may recognise the shape of this from Jake Blauvelt's Naturally - he was riding an early prototype of this board during the filming of the movie.
Flip the latch on the tail open and the two halves of the tail will flex independently when you're riding pow or close it up for the stiffness you need on hardpack.
[part title="Ride Revolt Bindings 2014/2015"]
The Ride Revolt is a pretty badass snowboard binding. It features Ride's unique Slime Back which is infused with urethane (the same material that skate wheels are made of), for maximum tweakability. The binding also has a unique heel cup adjustment system so you can get your bindings perfectly aligned on your board.
The Ride Wild Life snowboard is a hard charging all mountain freestyle board and next season's graphics look sick.

[part title="Ride OMG Snowboard 2014/2015"]
[part title="Ride Fuse Snowboard Boots 2014/2015"]
Ride's fuse boots are new this year and have a handy Tongue Tied lacing system where an outer boa helps to bring the tongue in - with faux fur lining and a classic design, these are sure to go down well.
What do you think of this year's product? We've got a tonne more on it's way, so keep your ear to the ground.
