CLWR-Colour-Wear-Recruit-Womens-Snowboard-Jacket-Burgandy-ISPO-2015-2016
Swedish outerwear company Colour Wear have hit a sweet spot in the market recently. Their functional, street-wear inspired designs are instantly distinguishable from the rest of the pack due to their block colour and contrasting white popper combos.

But it’s not all just fashion with these items, Colour Wear might hide it well, but there’s plenty of tech packed into these lot too. So if you’ve been stuck trying to find a 10k/10k jacket with fully taped seams, that you can still wear in the city all year round, this isn’t a bad place to start.

Equally, if you're one of those people that struggles to figure out whether their outerwear matches up ok – Colour Wear’s yearly offering makes it easy for you. You’ll normally find that you can mix and match their clothing with ease – so you’re never stuck with the stock jacket/pants pairing, but you can still reap the benefits of having two compatible items from the same brand.

CLWR-Colour-Wear-Bash-Snowboard-Jacket-Blue-ISPO-2015-2016

Colour Wear continue their anorak-ed antics with the Bash jacket. This time, instead of one kangaroo styled pocket, this takes an almost military inspired pocket combo so you can quickdraw bananas and cereal bars like a pro.

It's not just looks you get with this jacket though, the jacket boasts 10k/10k waterproofing v breathability rating and when combined with 40g of high loft padding; AND taped seams for waterproofing Nirvana.

CLWR-Colour-Wear-Blow-Snowboard-Jacket-Green-ISPO-2015-2016

The Blow jacket is one of Colour Wear's 'Ride' line of jackets - made for riding every damn day. It's a regular fit jacket with a dropped tail to keep your tushy toasty when scoping lines or waiting in 'em to drop.

The jacket's made from super waterproof nylon with a combination of polyester oxford that's very durable. It also has a 10k/10k rating and 40g of insulation to boot.

CLWR-Colour-Wear-Cake-Womens-Snowboard-Jacket-Red-ISPO-2015-2016

Colour Wear have expanded their womens range once again this season with a smattering of jackets from tip-top tech to urban inspired workwear.

The Cake jacket is in the mid-line 'Ride' range so comes with the stylish that the Swedish purveyors of fine fabrics are known for, and the sensibility of Scandinavian tech.

Whilst the price hasn't been released yet, we've been told that the Cake won't eat up your bank balance either.

CLWR-Colour-Wear-Cat-Womens-Snowboard-Jacket-Red-ISPO-2015-2016

If you're like our feline friends and always land on your feet, the Cat jacket might be for you. The super tech two layered fabric offers 20k/20k waterproofing vs breathability rating to keep the neige at bay.

Built for the steep and deep, it comes with all the features that you'd expect from a technical jacket. A snowskirt and helmet compatible hood come as standard, but the styling avoids making the jacket look like a Trekkie's wet dream.

CLWR-Colour-Wear-Charge-Snowboard-Jacket-Black-ISPO-2015-2016

Charge by name, charge by nature - the super simple jacket will keep you slaying the park until your knees pop out of your skin.

With taped seams as standard and a whole host of other tech features that'll make your eyes water. The snowskirt on this number zips into CLWR pants for a seamless transition.

CLWR-Colour-Wear-Dust--Snowboard-Jacket-Blue-ISPO-2015-2016

This number from Colour Wear is part of their Urban range. The Urban range is for the streets not the slope, but are all functional and rugged to survive cold weather climates.

The jacket's made from a waxed cotton and polyester canvas for that haute culture look no matter the location.

CLWR-Colour-Wear-Falk-Snowboard-Jacket-Brown-ISPO-2015-2016

Colour Wear's flagship tech jacket has managed to sell out of pretty much every retail outlet in Europe this year, and with more tech than a nuclear submarine.

The 3 layer fabric has a 20k/20k rating, and naturally comes with fully tapered seams. The brushed tricot chin guard will keep your visage from the harsh windburn of the Swedish tundras and the helmet compatible hood will stop fresh snow from heading down to your bum via your neck.

CLWR-Colour-Wear-Feather-Womens-Snowboard-Jacket-Blue-ISPO-2015-2016

As owners of the men's Feather jacket, we can attest to the super light weight insulation that this jacket comes with. The jacket is also reversible so you can switch it up depending on your mood as well (although we hope this season's jacket comes with pockets on both sides).

There's a whopping 200g synthetic down jacket to keep you warm and the jacket is water resistant which is a pretty nifty feature as well.

CLWR-Colour-Wear-Foil-Snowboard-Jacket-Burgandy-ISPO-2015-2016

The new style of shell jacket takes the anorak styling and gives it a jackets usability. We're big fans of the anorak styling, and with an asymmetric zipper added to front of the garment, it means it's easier to get on as well.

The jacket isn't all show though, with 20k/20k rating as standard, it'll keep you dry even if you're anorak-ing at your local airport.

CLWR-Colour-Wear-IOA-Womens-Snowboard-Jacket-Red-ISPO-2015-2016

The Ida jacket is reborn from the ashes of its last incarnation with a wee nip and tuck here and there. The jacket will be coming out in a blue, burgundy, black and grey for those of you preferring the primary colours look.

The Ida is in the 'Ride' series of the jackets, so it comes with 10k/10k rating and 250t polyester lining to keep you warm as well.

CLWR-Colour-Wear-Kappeli-Snowboard-Jacket-Camo-ISPO-2015-2016

Mario Kappeli's signature jacket keeps its camo couture again this season for his 10k/10k number from Colour Wear.

Colour Wear's angular camo made quite the rumbling in what we considers the end of the camo this season. They're keeping themselves visible with camouflage again next season. Bit of an oxymoron eh?

CLWR-Colour-Wear-Lynx-Womens-Snowboard-Jacket-Blue-ISPO-2015-2016

The Lynx will get you home and dry, no matter the conditions with its 3 layers of super waterproof and durable synthetic fabrics. With 20k/20k waterproofing and breathability, the jacket will see you through the toughest conditions.

As with all Colour Wear garments, you don't look like a nerd if you want tech clothing - the drop tail keeps the tushy covered and a slightly bigger fit so you can layer up underneath.

CLWR-Colour-Wear-MI5-Snowboard-Jacket-Brown-ISPO-2015-2016

Colour Wear have taken on the Ikea monkey with this jacket from their 'Urban' line. The waxed cotton fabric wouldn't look out of place at a Home Counties hunt, although on second thoughts, you're probably a poor snowboarder eating supernoodles for dinner.

Packing a healthy dose of insulation, this is a good number if you're tacking metro lines instead of couloirs.

CLWR-Colour-Wear-Moss-Snowboard-Jacket-Brown-Blue-ISPO-2015-2016

If you're tackling big mountain lines, the Moss vest might not be a bad accompaniment on your adventures. The reversible gillet is made from a lightweight polyester fabric, so it has a certain degree of water repellence as well.

CLWR-Colour-Wear-Pad-Womens-Snowboard-Jacket-Mint-Green-ISPO-2015-2016

If you're more icewoman than....warmwoman...when you ride, the Pad jacket does exactly what is says on the tin; pad you up with more insulation than the marshmallow man.

It comes in either the light blue above, a dark blue and a bubble gum pink if you're into the whole rainbows and butterflies kind of thing.

CLWR-Colour-Wear-Pine-Snowboard-Jacket-Black-Grey-ISPO-2015-2016

The Pine feelce from Colour Wear is part of their technical layering system that comes with their own Pinetech fabirc technology. The flexible construction allows a wide range of motion, whilst still giving a slimmish fit for the wearer.

It's for sure one of their more 'mountaineering' style numbers, but with the classic CLWR contrast poppers and shoulder pads, it's un-mistakably Swedish.

CLWR-Colour-Wear-Range-Womens-Snowboard-Jacket-Burgandy-ISPO-2015-2016

The Range womens jacket from Colour Wear is one of their signature parka styles for ladies that want a fresh looking jacket, without compromising on its usability on the street.

A 10k/10k rating, coupled with 60g of synthetic fill to keep you toasty means this jacket is far from a one trick pony. Leather PU detailing on the pockets give a good contrast for that urban look.

CLWR-Colour-Wear-Recruit-Womens-Snowboard-Jacket-Burgandy-ISPO-2015-2016

The Recruit is a new addition to the ladies Fusion line from Colour Wear - the anorak receives a 10k/10k rating to keep you dry, as well as tailoring to ensure you don't end up n in jacket when you put it on.

With so called 'angel wings' or articulated sleeves, it means the jacket is stitched in such a way that you get a full range of motion in the arms, without the jacket riding up or bearing any of your torso. Clap your hand everybody and say yeah!

CLWR-Colour-Wear-Roots-Snowboard-Jacket-Burgandy-Black-ISPO-2015-2016

The Roots jacket from Colour Wear gets a dumper truck load of insulation for this season. With 400g of synthetic fill, the jacket is one of the warmest in the range, without looking like you've eaten a small child.

Contrast blocks keep you looking steezey without having to take a hit on tech either. CLWR's 10k/10k rating and a storm placket keep the moisture at bay for days.

CLWR-Colour-Wear-Solid-Snowboard-Jacket-Yellow-ISPO-2015-2016

Primary colours are the name of the game with the Solid jacket from Colour Wear. As part of the 'Ride' range from the Swedish purveyors of fine fabrics, the jacket is a park orientated blanket of radness.

A dropped tail means that your bum will keep dry scoping speed for the next hit, or on any but drags on that beasty backside 900 you just threw...

CLWR-Colour-Wear-Zest-Snowboard-Jacket-Burgandy-ISPO-2015-2016

Another super lightweight insulated jacket from Colour Wear is the Zest. There's a few down-esque jackets in CLWR's range this season, but this one's the jewel in their crown.

As with all of their gear, you don't sacrifice on looks with tech. Stretch panels on the side and pits of the garment help with ventilation and with range of motion. A good friend to take with you on any global adventures.
