Bataleon Presents: The Surfer

Bataleon have released what they claim is ‘the surfiest ride on Earth’ – The Surfer. Longtime B-boy and videographical wizard DBK just cut together this rad promo for it, full of muchos lusty close-up pow shots of this unique-looking snowboard in action, and we heartily recommend you check it out for a good dose of the powder froth…

This board is available in pretty limited numbers and is loaded with Bataleon’s premium tech, not to mention it’s got one of the most insane shapes in snowboarding right now. The Surfer has a giant nose with intense 3BT and their new SideKick technology, plus even the ultra long, vampyric swallow fangs are 3D shaped to give you roosters and faceshots the likes of which you’ve never experienced.

When our homies at Whitelines reviewed the 2018 Bataleon Surfer they were suitably impressed. “Yeah, it looks great – but how does it ride?” pondered tester Sam McMahon, before answering himself: “Like a dream boat. And by boat, I mean one of those catamaran things that could get you across the Channel in about thirty minutes – with speed, and in style.” We also took one out last winter – alas there was precious little pow so our testing was solely on hardpack, but nevertheless The Surfer was still ultra fun to butter around and side hit on, not to mention it was excellent for a spot of charging and Eurocarving. But, yeah, get this baby in powder and you could tell you’d be guerning with joy like an early 90s raver.
