Today 686 Technical Apparel is announcing the launch of the GLCR Project, a unique opportunity for outdoor and winter adventurers to become integrated into the design process involved in creating the brand’s outerwear and accessories. The GLCR Project is an open invitation to men and women to apply for the rare chance to become wear testers, advocates and be an active part of a new era in consumer-integrated design for one of the world’s leading independent technical outerwear brands as it continues to evolve in its 24th year.
The goal of 686’s GLCR Project, is to combine the ideas and experiences of passionate, real-world consumers, who relish the experiences and opportunities that come from their outdoor pursuits. While 686 has primarily been known as a snowboard apparel company, the brand has steadily innovated and evolved over the last two decades, and is actively seeking GLCR Project ambassadors from a variety of areas. As the brand begins to create apparel for activities other than snowboarding, 686 is pursuing applicants for The GLCR Project who are active participants in cycling, mountain biking, camping, climbing, angling, mountaineering, trail running, outdoor photography and backcountry skiing and snowboarding.
