Windells Session 1 Recap with Nick Visconti and Friends #ridewoodonhood
Summer camp is in full swing at Windells and things have definitely started off with a bang. Thanks to the Session 1 Team Takeover sponsor; Nick Visconti & Friends, the campers rode alongside some of the biggest names in snowboarding. New head snowboard coach Nick Visconti came with a crew of solid homies for the snowboard takeover; Erik Leon, Ryan Paul and Scotty Vine. Despite Mother Nature’s occasional mood swings, Session 1 was a killer start to the best summer ever.
The digger crew worked tirelessly before the start of camp to put together what has been called one of the best park set ups Windells has had to date. Two private rope tows access an assortment of jumps, creative features, and more rails than you count. There’s even an on-hill skate plaza (and yea, it is amazing as it sounds).
The weather tried to slow things down by bringing several inches of snow to the mountain over the week, but the good times could not be stopped. Campers, staff, and visiting pros were able to make the most of the sunny days and have the week of their lives at the “funnest” place on earth.
