Rock A Rail 2015 – Full Gallery

Check all of the shots from Rock a Rail 2015. This contest is officially THE SHIT!

The 2015 and 5th anniversary edition of Rock A Rail went down last weekend in The Hague and brought some of the sickest rail riders on the planet to a massive new setup, which they proceeded to rip to shreds.

Despite some crazy unpredictable weather, the crowds braved the storm and stuck it out to the bitter end – and we don’t blame them.

The level of riding was higher than it’s ever been, and going on previous Rock A Rails, that’s definitely saying something. Green-haired Jesse Paul walked away with top honours, stomping heavy tricks on every feature, including an insane front board through the waterfall rail feature. Belgian ripper Kevin Trammer pulled out all the stops, landing some ridiculously tech tricks, and deservedly came in 2nd. Zak Hale rounded out the top 3 with consistently burly riding.

Rachida Aoulad got it done in the ladies category, with some super tech switch front boards on the down rail.

Ethan Morgan and Cees Wille both rode creatively, and took home crowd pleaser awards, while Denis Leontyev walked away with the best trick prize for a 50-50 frontside 360 to 50-50 transfer from pole jam to down rail.

Jesse Paul flew all the way over from the US to ride this contest and it was definitely worth the trip. Kid absolutely crushed it and walked away €1000 richer, taking the top spot. Front blunt. Photo: Sam Oetiker
