With riders like Jeremy Jones, Mark Sollors, Jamie Nicholls, Jaeger Bailey, Frank April, LNP, Yuma Abe and many more in attendance, there was definitely no shortage of hammer tricks, creative lines and a fair few meaty slams.

After two jam sessions, the judges whittled the field down to just six, who went on to battle it out in a two-run, best run counts final. Although there were a fair few errors from many of the riders, Zach Aller landed the cleanest and most impressive run in the finals, with a front blunt switch-up to boardslide on the flat to down gap rail, followed by a 50-50 to wallride on the box feature.

Jager Bailey was also riding solidly for most of the comp, doing enough for second place, with local kid Yuma Abe rounding out the podium in third.

Benny Milam took the ‘best rail trick’ award with a 50-50 to hardway backside 270 transfer from box to rail, Frank April claimed ‘best air’ with a backflip tailgrab and Reo Takahashi gapped over the down flat down to a backside wallride to walk away with the ‘best wall ride’ award.
