And from the bottom.
The pipe contest didn't run due to a combination of factors, but...
... Shaun White still managed to send it huge in the Expression Session. Our photographer reckoned that going that big in a pipe in that state was effectively superhuman snowboarding.
Seb Toutant landed on the Big Air podium, and finally has some words on the base of his board.
Spiderman makes vaycay in Yabuli.
Kids were hyped.
Yuki Kadono has been on a tear recently, but failed to podium in Big Air or Slope in Yabuli.
Ståle Sandbech slinks his way through the slopestyle course and onto the podium.
We've said it before and we'll say it again. Sebbe de Buck has killer style for a big fella.
Selfie game strong.
Portrait game stronger.
Roope Tonteri missed the podium due to a horrible judging error. The Chinese blew the replay so the judges had to score what they saw live, meaning they missed the fact that Kyle Mack failed to grab on his triple 14. WST are intending to make live slowmo replays mandatory at all Elite Level events moving forwards.
This dude had the on-hill catering dialled.
Eric Beauchamin preps for the pop out.

Julia Marino was sending double back Rodeos deep, scored super high on her first Big Air finals run, but sadly took a beating on her last jump. Props, girl!
Sebbe de Buck and Chas Guldemond.
After a bit of a barren spell in recent years, Peetu Piiroinen was back on point and won the World Champs’ Big Air Gold.
Ladies and gentlemen, your Big Air champion for the next four years... Mr Peetu Piiroinen.
If your fortune cookie had said silver slope medal for Max Parrot, then you should have wished for the one saying 'great wealth will come to you'.

Tyler Nicholson.
The big question on the women's side of things was can anyone beat Jamie Anderson right now?
And the answer was a resounding 'No' as Jamie took both the Big Air and Slopestyle gold medals.

Nick Baden evaluates the local snow conditions. Not so awesome was his report.
The only info we have on this girl is that she's the 'Queen' and goes huge in a dodgy pipe.
Mons Roisland.
Brandon Davis has a touch of the McEnroe about his appearance, and rode with the confidence of J-Mac in his pomp too.
