March 24-26 will see the twelfth edition of the Grandvalira-based Total Fight contest light up, and it’s now rightly seen itself bumped up to a World Snowboard Tour Elite level event.
Each year the Grandvalira Total Fight makes firm steps to remain a world leader in freestyle snowboarding scene. In its twelfth edition, introduce good news: the event is included on the top category of World Snowboard Tour circuit, from 24 to 26 March 2016.
The World Snowboard Tour welcomes the Grandvalira Total Fight in Elite calendar and it share the calendar with other events of the same magnitude as the X-Games or the World Championships.
The rising of Grandvalira Total Fight confirms the arrival of the best Slopestyle riders in Andorra. The organization will design a very technical and fluid Slopestyle circuit that allows the riders to perform their best tricks.
In the last edition, the Belgian Seppe Smits took the victory ahead of Finland’s Roope Tonteri and American Eric Willett. Smits performed a Frontside 270 in 270 Out on the first rail, Switch boardslide 270 Out on the box, Cab double 1260 Indy in the first big jump, Backside double cork 1080 Nosegrab in the second big jump and final Ollie to Laid Out backflip in the third big jump.
