The Norwegian scene descended on Kvitfjell and Hafjell to cut loose and throw down at the annual Team Battle. Muchos radness ensued, so check the photos and teaser...
Three competitions were spread over the weekend for The Team Battle and an array of Scandic superstars joined forces to get wild. Friday was all about the Bernhard Team Challenge. The teams got about 50 challenges they had to complete to be able to win the grand prize of NOK10,000, with missions as diverse as 'Ride a Brisse worthy spot', 'Lenny Powers Tribute: Inverted carve', and 'Do a trick naked!'
The main event was a slopestyle, team battle style, which went down on Saturday. An insane park, perfect weather and about 60 stoked riders made it one of the best comps of the year in many of the rider’s opinion. Team Session took home the win not only because of the level of riding, but also team spirit and for riding in dresses all day!
On Sunday, a pretty hungover group of riders showed up about two hours too late for the banked slalom event in Hafjell’s Bike Park, where Gramps Unit with Per Iver Grimsrud and Stian Aare took home the win.
