On March 2nd, more than 30 Kids from 6 to 14 followed the invitation of the TSV-Coach Matze Reif to the Patscherkofel, near Innsbruck. The yearly “Shred for a Smile" kids event has evolved and is now a real attraction for young snowboarders in Tyrol and reach out further and further - now even to Upper Austria.
The foggy weather was no problem for the kids with their overwhelming energy, playing the diverse games. The coaches were challenged with so many kids, but at the end of the day they put a smile on all the kids faces: “I have never learned so much as I did today!" In the End every kid got some goodies and the best ones could be happy about a ticket to the NASH-Tour finals.
To help the sport that we love, the best is to share it with kids, right? This is the aim of 'Shred for a Smile'. Kids 6-17 can get a whiff a day in freestyle snowboarding or to learn from the 'Great' new tricks. In various games, such as cubes, Loser, biathlon or Tic Tac Toe, kids can have fun together, and all end up going with a smile on the cheek home.
