Riders from several countries and age groups fought for the coveted slopestyle trophies and national championship titles on two competitions in Westendorf’s perfectly prepared Boarders’ Playground setup.
Riding super strong the whole weekend was Patrick Cinca (GER) who put down technically difficult and solid runs on both days and thus took the top of the podium, beating out Moritz Amsuees (AUT) and Leon Vockensberger (GER). In the women’s field, Nadja Flemming (GER) took win ahead of Lea Baumschlager (AUT) and Evy Poppe (BEL). Amsuess Moritz and Emma Lantos are thus the new Austrian champions. Felix Reicher won the U19 Austrian Masters title with a solid performance throughout the season.
The riders and coaches were stoked on the positive performance of their proteges, and also by the organization and atmosphere of the event. Once again it has been shown that the snowboarding is on a successful path, which can create a new generation of great talents, if the environment is modern and designed to be athlete-friendly. Afterwards the winners of the Yamaha Rock Party were celebrated extensively!
The results of all categories (SuperGroms, Groms, Rookies, Adults, Legends) can be found here.
