The big air contest of the Shred Down Austrian & German Masters 2017 in the K-Park in Kühtai near Innsbruck went off! With clear skies and a perfect set-up, the reigning SDAM 2017 slopestyle champion Moritz Amsuess was also able to snag the SDAM 2017 Big Air title!

While the Austrian and German riders tried to win the respective championship titles, the international rider field were also on hand to battle it out for the cash. Riders from Belgium, Italy, Russia, Serbia, and even Korea threw tricks at the highest level. As the best German, Talha Karakoca finished second behind Moritz Amsuess. Ihnat Siadanau from Belgium became third. In the legends the German coach Friedl May could impress not only his proteges with a perfect "switch backside 900 °"!
