Over the past three weeks, the Nordkette Skylinepark transformed itself into one of Austria’s biggest and most creative park set-ups, with a backdrop view that’s second to none. The entire area around the Frau Hitt Lift got a complete makeover, with the whole zone being planned and built by the local Innsbruck Sane Crew as the Sane Spring Break Sessions went off for the second year running.
In addition to the park setup that was open for all to shred, there were a host of events for riders to get involved with throughout the sessions’ duration. Highlights included free photo and video sessions from Got-It photo shoots, product tests for the upcoming 2018/2019 season from Ride Snowboards and Adidas Snowboarding, and a whole bunch of… you got it: sessions: Beer for Tricks Sessions, Cash for Tricks Sessions, Goodies for Tricks Sessions and many more.

Anyone who knows the Nordkette also knows the backdrop of Innsbruck you get is simply epic, and none more so than when shooting the good old Skyline Park Corner. The highlight was definitely the final photo session where the Sane! Boys – including Michi Schatz, Max Glatzl, Simon Pircher and Benno Bauer – all sent it to the moon once more.
When the sun went down in the Skylinepark, the program was far from over. On weekends, on Fridays and Saturdays, there were heaps of parties in collaboration with the Cloud 9 Iglubar, Jimmy’s Innsbruck, Aunt Emma Club, Dachsbau, and many more. The crowning glory of the off-hill programme was the Sane Spring Break Aftermovie premiere at Jimmy’s Innsbruck on April 7th.

In addition to swarms of local shredders, national and internationally known riders descended to take apart the special Sane Spring Break Setup. The park setup evolved constantly throughout the three weeks, the creativity and the fun guaranteed by the shaping crew knowing no limits. This also drew a bunch of brands to the party and the Skylinepark was put to good use for shootings and team meetings.
All that remains to be said is that the Sane Spring Break 2018 at the Nordkette Skylinepark was bigger, more creative and more popular than ever before. Roll on next year!
