The third annual Riksgränsen Banked Slalom rolled into the Swedish border town it calls home last week, and despite less than ideal conditions it was a huge success as ever. Carving, baby.

Saturday's senior qualifiers and the finals took place during the worst weather conditions. With rain mixed snowstorm sideways and zero visibility one would think that sour faces would be scattered across the event site, but no. Riksgränsen Banked Slalom's eminent racers showed how much fun it is to go snowboarding, despite the weather. They also showed that it's easily possible get to the really good times on the hill even though you can hardly see your hand in front of your damn face!
