A couple of weeks back, we were lucky enough to be invited out by Seppi Sholler for his brand Love Distribution's first ever Love Games. We were promised children's party games, sick snowboarding and a whole lot of fun, and we certainly were not disappointed on any of those fronts.
The Love Games were more of a friendly gathering with some snowboarding thrown in than a full-blown contest and it was a welcome change of pace and mood coming off the back of a little-known competition out in Russia.
Competitors, including international bosees Clemens Schattschneider, Matthias Weissenbacher, Mike Cassonova and Yale Cousino, were in attendance throwing down and riders were getting stuck into the creative rail and jump setup.
In between the snowboarding a bunch of fun team games were played including a sack hop, egg and spoon race and wheelbarrow race and watching snowboarders descend into utter chaos playing kiddie games was a sight to behold.
All in all, the event was an absolute blast and it was super refreshing to see such good vibes and strong sense of community at a brand new grassroots event. The edit above captures that essence perfectly.
