The sixth incarnation of Snowboy Production’s Holy Bowly is just a few days away from kick-off, and this time around it’s going down in the Pacific Northwest at Timberline, Oregon. The setup is coming together nicely, and event sponsors Lib Tech are so hyped they’ve pulled together a dream quiver package for one lucky someone to win!
Inspired by Japan’s bowlriding movement, since 2013 Snowboy Productions have been teaming up with Lib Tech to put on a season-ending celebration of banks, trannies, bowls, airs and turns. The Holy Bowly quickly became a date you’d want to mark in your calendar, and over the years – from Tenjin, Japan in 2013, to Park City, Mammoth, and last year’s Canadian incarnation in Sunshine Valley – an increasing number have riders have descended to get bowled over by the insane setups the crew always craft.
For 2018’s edition, the Holy Bowly has pitched up at Timberline, on the flanks of Mount Hood – the same area where all those Hood edits come from each summer – and it promises to be one for the books. As Lib state, it’s set to be “the ultimate session of snowboard transition, a paradise of freestyle flow possibility, the Holy Bowly!”
