Highlights here from the latest stop on the QParks tour 16/17 - and riders have been gathering at the new Golden Roofpark at Axamer Lizum for the very first Gold & Glory.

46 snowboarders descended on the park to compete, turning out the tricks you'll see in the highlights above, and more, and sharing in €1200 prize money for the winners, as well as giveaways from WeAre, QParks, AMPLIFI and Pinetime Clothing.

Fame and honor was given to the Austrian snowboarder Felix Reicher, who became first place in the category Snowboard Men, followed by Henrik Meyn (NLD) and Linus Birkendahl (GER). The second, Dutch snowboarder Henrik, additionally convinced the judges with a Hardway Frontside 270 on the Down Rail which rewarded him with the title for the Best Trick.

Till Strohmeyer (GER) threw down a Backside Lipside, a Backside 540 Stalefish, a Switch Backside 540 and a Frontside 360 Stalefish and won the category Snowboard Grom Men, ahead of British rider Gabe Adams and Benedikt Fridbjornsson (ISL).

Atop the Snowboard Women, Klara Dinold (AUT) was the rider of the day with her Backside Lipslide, a Backside 3 Indy, a Frontside 180 Frontside Grab and a Cab 1 Mute. The second place was also taken by a well-known Austrian shred girl – Lisa Veith, followed by Luca Mai Lane Hopkins from the UK.

The Brit lived up to this QParks Snowboard Tour Stops title and further won the Snowboard Grom Women category. The second place was reached by Demy Janssen (NLD) ahead of the Austrian Ronja Hänsel. This was Gold & Glory for the Axamer Lizum and all riders who delivered a sick freestyle show and honored the Golden Roofpark with their best tricks.
