Girls shred at its best. This winter, the Girls Shred Sessions sweep across the Alps with a compact schedule of 7 dates.

What’s the game? It's all about shredding for fun, finding new ‘shred sistas’, checking out different snowparks with the goal to motivate as many girls as possible to engage in freestyle sports – stress, competitive vibes or the pressure to perform are totally banned from the scene! Every girl, no matter if on one or two boards and regardless of riding skills, is welcome to take part in the sessions. The only requirements are snowboard and freeski park basics and no fear of bails. If you want to improve your kicker or rail skills, you will get support from female pro riders who will give you advice on tricks and – if needed – offer you moral support as well.

STEP INTO THE SPOTLIGHT A professional film- and photo-crew will join the sessions, offering you the perfect opportunity to get a nice collection of action shots for your Facebook profile or family album. After each session, the media crew will sum up the park action with a short edit. There is a good chance that you can get a nice part in this clip.

THE DATES IN DETAIL We will start at the Vans Penken Park in Mayrhofen on the 1st of February 2015. Following the slogan "from girls for girls" – and for the first time in history, a special obstacle will be designed and set up specifically for this event. What's the special thing about that? The obstacle will be designed by girls and set up by our ‘shapettes’ – right, there are also female shapers. Subsequently, the feature can be tested for its shredability.

The next stop of the girls shred sessions will be held on February, 21st, in the beautiful Tyrolean valley of "Ötztal" - at the Snowpark Obergurgl to be more precise. The small but creative setup is perfect for all freestyle rookies who want to make their first jib experiences in a snowpark.

The consequent session will then happen on February, 28th at the Blue Tomato Kings Park Hochkönig. During this session, you will receive permanent advice and assistance from Blue Tomato pro-coaches. Furthermore, you can win loads of prizes as part of the "Goodies-forTrix" session. As a NEW member among the Girls Shred Session hosts, the MINI Snowpark Feldberg provides Germany’s longest jibline inmidst the notorious Black Forest.

On March 7th in 2015, freeski pro Jule Seifert will be ready to show her playground in detail.

On the 14th of March, the Girls Shred Sessions will return to the place of origin where everything began 3 years ago – at the Superpark Planai. The traditional Sunset-Session and the legendary BBQ at the chill-area again have their spot in this year’s schedule.

All Swiss girls should definitely put a mark on their calendars for the 22th of March 2015, since the Snowpark Gstaad is again host for the girls' bash. Those jib-queens who cannot get enough of winter, are warmly invited to stop by at the final session at the Superpark Dachstein on the 3rd of May 2015 for some laidback spring-shred.
