This coming weekend the whole snowboard scene will train their eyes on the Bergisel Stadium in Innsbruck. Construction work for the big air contest has already begun last week and is in full swing for the 24 top athletes to compete with perfect conditions.

Two years ago Eric Willett (USA) won with a switch backside 1260 mute grab. Emil Ulsletten had to perform a switch backside triple cork 1440 mute grab in Beijing to ensure his victory. What will it take to secure a podium spot at this year’s Air + Style Innsbruck? They certainly will shine with high technical tricks and 25 meters jumping distance to thrill the crowd.

If you're wondering why Mark McMorris has two shots, it's because he pulled a textbook Method. YES!

Within 10 days 700 cubic meter snow are getting delivered by the Stubaier Glacier, Austria’s largest ski region and official snow supplier of the Air + Style Innsbruck – Tirol 2015 presented by Opel. This years shaping crew is Schneestern. With a team of 8 they’ve already started to shape the kicker last Thursday. At the top of the 35 meter high drop-in, the athletes can expect a 70 meter inrun with 48 degrees of inclination, which gives enough speed to conquer the 8 meter gap between take-off and landing.
